The challenge we have for you:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in developing machine learning models, ideally in the finance and accounting sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our data science capabilities, focusing on building robust models that enhance decision-making processes and drive business intelligence.

You will be responsible for:

Machine Learning Model Development:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models tailored for finance and accounting applications.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and define business problems that can be solved through advanced analytics.

Generative AI:

-   Explore and develop generative AI models to address challenges and opportunities in the finance and accounting domain.

-   Collaborate with research and development teams to stay at the forefront of generative AI technologies.

MLOps:

- Demonstrate an interest in and familiarity with MLOps tools and practices to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning models.

- Contribute to the development of best practices for model versioning, testing, and automation within the MLOps framework.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with finance and accounting experts, software engineers, and data engineers to integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems.

Research and Innovation:

- Stay informed about the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and generative AI.

- Contribute to the development of new methodologies and approaches to address challenges unique to the finance and accounting industry.

-  Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

-  Proven experience (3+ years) in developing and deploying machine learning models, preferably in the finance and accounting domain.

-  Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.

-  Experience with generative AI models and/or NLP is a plus.

-  Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices.
